I just got word that a new splash pad is in the works for Burr Ridge! I was so excited that I called the Burr Ridge Park District to get the scoop.
The plan is to build it in Harvester Park.
15 W 400 Harvester Drive,
Burr Ridge, Illinois
a little northwest of the intersection of County Line Road and I55.
You can check out the current plan here. The Park District has applied for a grant from the state of Illinois to build the Splash Water Playground and will not get word in time to have the park available this summer however…
The Burr Ridge Community Park Foundation is holding a fashion show and afternoon tea to raise money for the splash pad so we can all hopefully enjoy it soon.
