Tooth Fairy Day

Tooth Fairy Day is a great first experience at the dentist. It's a fun opportunity for your child to ride in the dental chair, squirt water and air from the instruments and become familiar with being in the office without having an exam or cleaning. In addition to getting aquainted with the office, there is also the opportunity to meet the tooth fairy and receive a goody bag, fun hand stamps and a balloon!

So many kids (and adults) dread the dentist, but exposing them to a dental office through Tooth Fairy Day can shape their view in a positive way! Elliott went before his first appointment and he still loves going to the dentist! I think it's such a great idea.

Tooth Fairy Day is a free event and you do not have to be an existing patient to attend. (According to the Oral Health Care Professionals website, a child is usually ready for their first official dental visit around the ages of two or three.)

The next Tooth Fairy Day is September 23, 2011. You can call the office to schedule your time slot.

  1. Oh, that does sound like a good idea! For kids, it's best to start teaching them about stuff like dentistry and caring for the health of their teeth as early as possible. That way, they'll have an easier time going to the dentist as they grow up.
